Whiteavesia(false mussel)
This triangularly ovate shell narrows toward the inconspicuous beak. The interior surface has ridges that appear on internal molds that probably reflect fine external ornament.
HABITAT A marine suspension feeder, it is likely that this genus was attached to the sae floor by byssus threads.
