Cardiola (Dog cockle )
This medium-size shell is thin and convex. Below the beak in each valve is a triangular ledge with diverging grooves but no hinge teeth. The valves are ornamented with radiating ribs and spaced concentric folds.
HABITAT It is belived that Cardiola lived just below the sediment in moderately deep waters.
